A long time ago, I had passed by this website and never joined it because of it's appearance. No offense PineCone Research you guys/gals are great, but the website design is very early 2000's, and yeah.
Anyways, I recently about a 2 weeks ago I stumbled upon the Survey Police ranking system and since they were number 2 and I was ready to restart my journey making money online, I decided to sign up and in a week I received my first 2 surveys, one in which I never did because I dismissed because I had yet to trust the website. I decided to actually do the second survey that they sent me. Be sure to always do the surveys that they send you because they will expire. The survey I did do took about 30-40 minutes to complete and the questions weren't so bad either, and was given 300 points. On PineCone research, 100 points=$1 dollar. Though you are not reward be any other increments then 300 points( $3.00) , from there you go to redeem my points on your 'profile'/members page.
You are then directed to the rewards center site
in which you can use your accumulated points to purchase something or you can chose the $3.00 cash out option. Before reading the 'FAQ' I didn't understand how I was suppose to actually do that because it was not just labeled 'Cash Out' . You actually go to Featured Awards which will be all the way at the bottom on the left sidebar navigation, and then you will click ' Cash Option .' The cash option is only available in increments of $3.00. What this means is that your purchase, is a $3.00 cash option, you can select to have multiple orders of $3.00. Say that you have accumulated 900 points,
in order to redeem $9.00 in cash, then you will select to have 3 orders of the $3.00 cash option. At first you will only be allowed to receive payments in the form of checks being sent to your home, though after your first or second time cashing a check then you will be emailed to send scott@pineconeresearch.com an email saying that you would like to have your payments sent directly to your paypal. I am just at that stage and am waiting for a reply back, because my email that I used for my Pinecone Research account is different then that of my paypal. I will update you about the status of this query once I receive a response ! Also they will always give you $3.00 for each survey you do that does not end in 3001. Those that do are only surveys that will help get a better understand of you are as an individual/household but you will not be paid for them, don't worry though because they are shorter than those you get paid for. Oh, I almost forgot! Also, you are never told about when you will receive it, but I have researched and read that from certain surveys or just randomly they select to have panelists (that's us) participate in a free prodcut testing. Meaning that one day you may check the mail and have a random awesome prodcut, that was free/paid with hard survey taking/question answering work!Again, with a great website comes a great copycater looking to take advantage of a website that is doing well for themselves and their panelists, a scam has been replicated to lure panelists into their trap of lies.
